Exhibitions
Since April 2009, there have been changing exhibitions at Blankenburg Castle to be admired. With a varied repertoire, we would like to breathe life back into the monument and offer visitors more variety.
Current Exhibition
At the moment there is no exhibition.
Permanent exhibition
While you are visiting the castle, waiting for events and handing in your wardrobe, you can already learn about the work of Friederike Caroline Neuber. The actress (1697-1760) and first principal of a German theater worked for several years at the Blankenburg court.
For our part, this small exhibition is also intended as a symbolic monument to Friederike Caroline Neuber, who helped prepare the ground for German classical music in early theater history and significantly developed the performing arts.
Opening hours
The exhibition can be visited during regular opening hours.
March - December
Tuesday to Sunday 10:00 to 16:00
Admission to the exhibition is free.
Participation in a guided tour is not required to visit the exhibition. Temporary restrictions due to construction work are possible. Please pay attention to the notes on these pages or the information on site.
